The strength of the Land of the Mille Miglia project and its media spendability is given by a sense of belonging that links the adherent municipalities, conscious of the knowledge of having contributed and to be part of the history of the Mille Miglia. Adhesion is achieved by the use of two instruments:
- the creation of a personalised sticker for the participant cars
- the creation of a dedicated space on the official site of the Land of the Mille Miglia
PERSONALISED STICKER FOR PARTICIPANT CARS
A sticker will be created carrying the Mille Miglia logo in which will be inserted:
- the name of the municipality
- the first year in which the event crossed its territory.
Adhering to that operation means being part of a vast communications project. In that way, the name of the municipality receives ample visibility, not only due to the presence of a vast public that lines the route as the cars pass through, but also due to the presence of national and international journalists and television (RAI, Mediaset and Sky) which will follow the caravan. Above all, the project will be an interesting opportunity for the local and regional media, which will have the chance to describe the historic transit of the race.
THE SPACE DEDICATED ON THE OFFICIAL LAND OF THE MILLE MIGLIA INTERNET SITE
A dedicated space will be created in which the municipalities will appear on the official Land of the Mille Miglia site, where visitors can consult:
- the link to the municipality’s site and its logo
- photographic description of the municipality today
- historic images of the Mille Miglia passing through the municipality
- a photographic review of the presence of the municipality in the Historic Commemoration of the Mille Miglia
- list of the years during which the event passed through the municipality
- the maps of the historic routes
It will also be possible to get to know the story of the Mille Miglia through anecdotes that link the race to the territory, particular events that make every location unique.
The portal, written in Italian and English and constantly updated, is structured to be consultable by the heterogeneous public with various interests; collectors, journalists, enthusiasts etc.
