| "The capital of Garda" is a lively small town of about 27,000 inhabitants located in the extreme south west of Benaco. At the centre of an ample gulf located between the elevation of Monte Corno and the Sirmione peninsula, Desenzano is to be found in a privileged geographical position, from which to admire the most beautiful lake in Europe in its maximum extension. The Milan-Venice railway line, the courier service, the navigation lines on the entire lake, the two motorway toll booths (A4 Serenissima) and the nearby of the airports of Montichiari and Verona make it a junction of prime importance. Cyclable tracks and three lines of urban transport, together with numerous transfer car parks ensure an efficient and safe mobility. |
